Join Coastal for the marquis event of Naval Station Norfolk’s year-long anniversary celebration is the Chambers Field Centennial Air Show. Originally established as a seaplane base in 1917, Chambers Field has since evolved into a modern, thriving airfield. The air show will provide a truly unique opportunity for the public to see flying performances by numerous historic aircraft that have operated at Chambers Field over the last 100 years.
Vintage War Birds from throughout the last century of flight will appear before the crowd to showcase the rich history of aviation and provide a window into the past of this historic airfield. The air show will also incorporate performances by the Lima Lima Flight Team and parachute jumps by the U.S. Army Black Daggers. The entire family will thrill to this dramatic trip through the history of Naval Aviation and the Centennial of Chambers Field.
Open to the Public

CAP will have an aircraft static display and booth to highlight our Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Program Missions for America. Available Cadet and Senior Members are requested to volunteer for service at our booth and will have ample time to enjoy the air show and sites.
